Neighbours star Mark Little, who played fan-favourite character Joe Mangel, looked unrecognisable as he joined a local Welsh team for a spot of cricket. The former soapstar appeared in the popular Aussie show from 1988 until exiting in 1991, he made a couple of reappearances in 2005 and returned for the show's final episode in 2022. Since leaving the soap, Mark has relocated to Wales where he lives off the grid and works as a farmer in the countryside near Lake Vyrnwy in Powys. Having left his acting career behind him, Mark looked unrecognisable as he posed with his teammates at Guilsfield and Llandrinio Cricket Club outside the clubhouse.
Looking worlds away from his role as Joe Mangel, Mark posed for a photo in his white cricket uniform and white cap. During his time on the soap, Mark had short, dark brown hair and was clean shaven. However, now he looks very different to the character fans will remember, with long grey locks and a silver beard.
Following his relocation to Wales, Mark has become an increasingly vocal political activist and anti-fascism campaigner in recent years, according to Wales Online. In a recent tweet, he said: "I have been way out of the loop. And what a loopy loop it is.
We have moved HQ and have been finessing a magic acre in the wilderness. I have been as busy as a farmer.” When asked by one Twitter follower why he had picked that particular spot to settle down, he replied: "It chose us. "We bought before the pandemic and spent six months of lockdown selling up and moving out.
