NBCU Plans to Frame Some Peacock Shows With Occasional Ads

Brian Steinberg Senior TV EditorNot every marketer is likely to get its commercials on a new ad-supported version of Disney+.The popular streaming service — home to Marvel movies, the “Star Wars” series and hours of signature kids’ programming — is about to unveil a new ad-supported tier, part of a broader move by big entertainment companies like Disney to lure new subscribers to its broadband entertainment hubs with cheaper subscription levels. Indeed, the new option is one of the most-anticipated developments of the looming TV “upfront,” when TV networks try to sell the bulk of their commercial inventory for the next programming cycle.But Disney is being careful, according to two media buyers with knowledge of recent discussions between the company and advertising agencies, wary of overwhelming the streaming outlet with a glut of ads that might obscure the service’s family-friendly environment.

Michele Amabile Angermiller Lea Thompson has always been at the top of her acting game, but she’s putting her experience competing on season 19 of “Dancing With the Stars” to use in a new music video. Kailia Posey is being remembered by those who knew the late pageant star. In an interview with Fox News Digital, Maureen Francisco – who worked with Posey at her most recent pageant – shared that she was "in shock" when she heard the news.  "When I first saw the post that her mom posted about Kailia, I was in shock, I didn’t believe it. At first, I thought maybe her mother’s Facebook got hacked, so I had to wait.

Toddlers & Tiaras alum Kailia Posey has died at 16, the pageant queen’s mother revealed in May 2022.

Kailia Posey, whose only appeared on one memorable episode of TLC’s Toddlers & Tiaras which led to a popular GIF, has died, according to a Facebook post by her mother, Marcy Posey Gatterman. Her cause of death was not announced. She was 16.
