It looks like NBC is pleased with Quantum Leap as the network is giving the freshman show additional episodes!
THR is reporting that the show has officially been given an additional order for six more episodes in season one. In total, the rookie series will have 18 episodes in the first season. Raymond Le, Ernie Hudson, Caitlin Bassett, Mason Alexander Park and Nanrisa Lee star in the show.

Networks usually greenlight additional episodes for new shows when they’re performing well, so this is a good sign for fans hoping for more Quantum Leap in the future!
