It is always a good idea to make sure your home is well maintained - both inside and out. While most people focus on the interiors when revamping their house, it is important not to forget your garden too.
Even if it is just a case of regularly cutting the grass, digging up any weeds, and making sure your fence doesn't look dated. One major difference, however, is that gardens often border neighbouring properties - and this can cause issues.
While some people will offer to help each other, by cutting their neighbour's grass or trimming their foliage, it is crucial to ask for permission first, The Mirror reports.

She was left fuming when she went out into her garden and realised that a section of around 30-40ft of the wood had been marked from the other side.
Taking to Mumsnet to tell her tale, she wrote: "My new neighbour has ruined our fence (in our deeds) by staining their side without our permission. They lied and told me it was a treatment when I asked them when it would dry clear (which they also assured me it would do!)
