A 'murderous beast' who stabbed his ex-girlfriend to death then killed her new partner will die behind bars after a judge sentenced him to a rare whole life order.
Marcus Osborne, 35, who has a shocking history of domestic violence, stabbed nurse and mum-of-four Katie Higton a total of 99 times. A court heard he lay in wait for Ms Higton, 27, then attacked her at the front door of her home. He then lured Steven Harnett, 25, to the house and stabbed him repeatedly with a knife before mutilating his body.
A judge was told evil Osborne - branded a 'murderous beast' by Ms Higton's father - went on to clean their bodies then 'pose' them in the living room. A woman who was with the new couple was also raped by Osborne after the murders.

A judge who jailed him said she was in no doubt a whole life order was appropriate, telling him: "What you did that night was horrific."
Osborne lay in wait for Ms Higton at her address in Harpe Inge, Dalton, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, in the early hours of May 15 last year after she enjoyed a cinema date with Mr Harnett. He attacked her 'immediately' at her front door, subjecting her to 99 separate injuries with a knife, Leeds Crown Court heard.
Another woman at the address pleaded to be allowed to hold Ms Higton as she died, but Osborne refused, telling her: "She's going to die on her own now, the b****."
He then used Ms Higton's phone to lure Mr Harnett to the house, using the weapon to kill and mutilate him, reports Yorkshire Live. Osborne went on to rape a woman at the address, telling her: "Shut up, this is the last time I'll have sex in a long time."
