An inquest into the death of a man who murdered a 20-year-old outside a pub will be heard in front of a jury, a court heard.
Carl Smythe, 46, was an inmate at HMP Manchester after he was jailed for murdering Damien Bendelow in Liskeard, Cornwall, in January 2020.
He was found dead in his cell in May 4 of this year, an inquest opening at Manchester Coroner's Court heard.
