A woman who was savagely attacked by a pack of ferocious dogs that tore out her colon, both of her arms and a part of her scalp has been arrested for dealing drugs. Kyleen Waltman, 38, from South Carolina was the victim of the horrendous canine attack which took place earlier this year and has been forced to learn how to live without the use of her arms.
The female amputee was stopped by police officers while she was in her friend, Jeffrey Wayne Bond's car in Abbeville County, South Carolina, the Daily Star reports. Officers discovered eight grams of methamphetamine inside the mother-of-three’s handbag, and a further seven grams of the highly-addictive drug were additionally uncovered from her pockets.
Abbeville County Capt, Matthew Graham stated: “In total Kyleen Waltman possessed approximately 15.5 grams of methamphetamine, which is considered trafficking weight.” She was arrested on charges of drug trafficking on Wednesday, October 26, and was released on her own recognisance by Judge Susan Gladden later that same day.
Her friend Bond was also arrested on drugs charges. Kyleen, who recently became a grandmother for the first time, was attacked by two pitbulls and a German shepherd as she walked back from her boyfriend's house on March 21.
She was horribly injured, not only losing both arms but being left with permanent scarring on her face and coming close to losing her leg. She was also horribly traumatised by the experience, with relatives saying she was crying “constantly”.
Her sister wrote: ”At times we don’t think she has gripped the fact she has lost her arms because she will ask our mama to hold her hand and mama says ‘I am’, and Kyleen will say, ‘OK’." The dogs' owner, Justin Minor, 36, was arrested for

A man using drugs who hadn't slept in days shot and killed five people in a South Carolina home where people gathered to get high, a sheriff said Tuesday. James Douglas Drayton, 24, was arrested on Monday in Burke County, Georgia, after crashing during a police chase, said Spartanburg County Sheriff Chuck Wright at a news conference. Drayton was driving a car taken from the home where the shooting took place in the city of Inman, the sheriff said.
A South Carolina man was arrested on Monday, accused of murdering three family members, including a local councilman, authorities said. Matthew Allen Dewitt, 25, remained in custody at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on Tuesday following the deaths of Natasha Stevens, 52, in Conway, South Carolina and James DeWitt II, 52 and Gloria DeWitt, 52, outside of Columbia, South Carolina, the Horry County Police Department said on social media.
