A man who is said to have sharped his teeth is accused of kidnapping a woman and threatening to rip her throat out.
Michael Barajas is charged with kidnapping a 20-year-old pregnant victim in Flint, Michigan, US, after allegedly trafficking her. It is claimed the she was held as a prisoner in the 36-year-old's home for three weeks.
Genesee County Sheriff Christopher Swanson described Barajas as a "serial monster". He was arrested in December by the Genesee Human Oppression Strike Team (GHOST), the Mirror reports.
His victim has spoken out following the alleged ordeal and claims she had been tied to a bed with a rope.
The woman, who is not using her real name amid fears she will be targeted again, says she tried to escape three times before she finally managed to break free. According to prosecutors, Barajas was building a human trafficking gang called the 'Masaad Squad'.
Genesee County Sheriff Christopher Swanson described Barajas as a "serial monster".
His victim said: "I don’t want anyone else to feel the way I felt, so alone. I was tied to a bed with rope and chained with handcuffs."
She explained she had been offered a meal and a place to shower after a bad argument with her boyfriend. After taking the gang up on their offer, she went to leave but was told she couldn't.
She continued: "I was terrified and I started begging, pleading with them, let me go."
For more than a week she was kept in a drug and alcohol induced state.
She said: "There were a lot of men, they were assaulting me. They wouldn’t let me eat or drink anything other than vodka," said Marie.
"He doesn't stop. He will not stop. That's why he's a serial monster," Swanson said. Two other suspects, Alex Schmidt and Juwan Housey, have been arrested.
