Mitski and David Byrne appear together on "This Is A Life," the first single from Son Lux's soundtrack to new A24 movie Everything Everywhere All At Once. You can hear what the three artists cooked up together below.
"This Is A Life" is just one track on the massive, 49-song soundtrack to the upcoming movie. Other guests involved in the project include André 3000, Randy Newman and Moses Sumney.

A filmed version of Byrne’s critically-acclaimed Broadway musical, American Utopia, directed by Spike Lee, was released in 2020. Everything Everywhere All At Once is a surreal and comedic sci-fi action-adventure about an exhausted Chinese-American woman who can't seem to finish her taxes.
Set inside a multiverse, the movie stars Michelle Yeoh, Stephanie Hsu, Ke Huy Quan, Jenny Slate, Harry Shum Jr., James Hong and Jamie Lee Curtis. It hits theaters on April 8.

Talking Heads co-founders Chris Frántz and Tina Weymouth were involved in a car crash earlier this month after being hit by a drunk driver.Weymouth sustained three fractured ribs and a fractured sternum in the incident, Frántz revealed in a Facebook post today (March 27).“I was driving on the Post Road, U.S. Route 1 with Tina Weymouth when we were struck head on by a drunk driver who was driving on the wrong side of the road,” Frántz recounted.“Incredibly, we walked away from the collision,” Frántz continued.

David Byrne says he believes that Spotify is “making artists uncomfortable” around the scandal relating to COVID misinformation shared on Joe Rogan’s podcast.Earlier this year, Rogan and Spotify were heavily criticised for sharing misinformation about the coronavirus vaccine on the exclusive podcast The Joe Rogan Experience, which led to artists including Neil Young and Joni Mitchell removing their music from the service.Byrne, who in 2013 publicly criticised the “pittance” artists are paid in terms of royalties from streaming services like Spotify, and claimed he had pulled as much of his catalogue as possible from the service, was asked his thoughts on the ongoing scandal in a new interview with the Guardian.“There’s been all these things about platforms having … let’s say questionable or controversial content [and] putting out misinformation or outright lies or … not exactly hate speech, but things that are making a lot of artists uncomfortable,” he said.“And it’s pretty tough to do anything to help ameliorate that unless you’re a Drake or Taylor Swift, or those kinds of artists.
