Miss Scarlet wasn’t left alone for long: Tom Durant Pritchard (This Is Going to Hurt, The Crown) has joined the cast of the Masterpiece drama that’s currently filming its fifth season in Belgrade, Serbia.
Durant Pritchard plays Alexander Blake, a handsome former soldier and respected detective inspector who joins the force at Scotland Yard to replace William “The Duke” Wellington, who has gone to America. “I am thrilled to be joining the team and to become part of the Scarlet family,” Durant Pritchard said in a statement. “Working with Kate has been a dream and she’s been so welcoming.”

I will miss working with my amazing partner in crime Kate and the rest of our
