Michelle Keegan has shared her worries over the future of her acting career in the wake of her incredibly successful Netflix thriller Fool Me Once. The former coronation Street actress, who is also married to TOWIE icon Mark Wright, shot to fame on the ITV soap, and the star has continued to grow her career with more and more varied acting roles ever since. The brunette beauty has starred in the likes of BBC military favourite Our Girl and comedy hit Brassic, with her latest smash being the adaptation of one of successful mystery writer Harlan Coben's popular novels.
Yet despite that, the 36 year old TV star still feels like she's an "imposter" in the business, and struggles to believe in herself. As a result, she admitted that she fears she'll "never work again" after each and every acting role she signs on to. During a chat with Fearne Cotton on her Happy Place podcast, Michelle explained: "I've said it before that I suffer a lot with imposter syndrome.
"So I will be doing a job and as soon as I wrap on that job, I'm like, 'Right, well I'm never gonna work again." "'You know, that was good while it lasted.
That's it, that's me done,'" the actress continued. "So yeah, I always have that slight panic, no matter what I've finished, or if I'm going onto something else. "I always have that slight panic," the star added with a laugh.
It comes as Michelle also opened up recently on the struggles she and her husband Mark face with her having to go away on long-distance projects. The actress has had to travel all around the world on location for various acting roles, but the couple know that the key to keeping their marriage alive is down to their strong "friendship". "I think just being best friends," the star told Fearne.
