Michael J Fox described his beloved wife Tracy Pollan, 62, as a "miracle" when sharing how she has been his rock amid his decades-long battle with Parkinson's. Speaking to Express. co.
uk and other press, the Back to the Future actor, discussed the release of his intimate and honest documentary, Still. When asked how he felt about watching the personal film back and revisiting all the struggles he has had in life, the 61-year-old said: "The thing about the film that most affects me when I watch is not all the tragedy and struggle, It's my family. "It's these people that are who I thought they were.
"They are beautiful, funny people that keep me alive and keep me connected and they're so smart and so grounded and my wife is a miracle. "Michael noted that a particularly "real" moment caught on camera was "when my wife was giving me s**t about me not getting my texting act together".
He added affectionately: "I mean, it's just so real, it's my life. "How much I count on those people and how much they deliver for me and how much my relationship with them is from my honesty, through dealing with all this stuff I dealt with that I've always been honest with them. "Michael and Tracy have been married since 1988 after meeting on the set of Family Ties three years earlier.
They are doting parents to their four children: Sam, 33, Esme, 21, and 28-year-old twins Aquinnah and Schuyler. Michael was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 1991, aged 29. The condition causes involuntary shaking, movement problems and loss of memory, among other symptoms.
