Meghan Markle's former best friend Jessica Mulroney has broken her silence following the couple's controversial Netflix documentary.
Celebrity stylist Jessica became close friends with the Duchess of Sussex while she lived in Toronto during the production of Suits. Despite seemingly growing apart in recent years, Jessica, 40, and Meghan, 41, were once so close that the former actress called her the night Prince Harry proposed.
Jessica remained tight-lipped on social media after the Netflix series Harry and Meghan premiered, but has since shared a sweet snap of her from her former best pals wedding. The pair reportedly drifted apart after Jessica was was called out by blogger Sasha Exeter for comments she made regarding 'white privilege' during a conversation about the Black Lives Matter movement.
Jessica was accused of displaying signs of "very problematic behaviour and antics" within the fashion industry and has kept tight-lipped about her friendship with Meghan since.
Jessica later issued a public apology and appeared to make a reference to Meghan, saying: "As I told you privately, I have lived a very public and personal experience with my closest friend where race was front and centre.
"It was deeply educational. I learned a lot from that. I promise to continue to learn and listen on how I can use my privilege to elevate and support black voices."
However, breaking her silence on the matter the stylist shared the black and white snap of herself alongside Suits actress Abigail Spencer and other guests at the wedding reception.
