Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are moving onto bigger and better things after their brutal Emmy Award snub.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made a comeback to Hollywood in 2022 with their bombshell Netflix documentary series, Harry & Meghan.
The shocking six-part series was under consideration for Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Series after bringing in a record breaking total of 81.6m hours watched.
Despite this, the project failed to secure any Emmy nominations when they were announced earlier this week, the Express reports.
Royal expert Ingrid Seward recently told the Mirror that the former royal couple have been left "devastated" after they discovered they were not in the running to take home the prestigious award.
The editor-in-chief of Majesty magazine added: “But of course [the couple] will not show it.”
She continued on to say that the viewership numbers were “obviously not good enough for an Emmy nomination.”
However, the series earned itself the title of the second most viewed minutes of any documentary program on the streaming platform behind The Tinder Swindler.
While their Emmy fail likely dented their egos to some extent, PR expert Mayah Riaz said there will be “no impact on their career”.
She told the same outlet: “Yes, award nominations and wins would be great but their reasons for doing the Netflix docuseries aren’t for these nominations. They have their own reasons for it, which are bigger.”

Despite the documentary not securing any Emmy honours, it did receive a nomination for the Hollywood Critics Award in the Best Streaming Nonfiction category.
