Meghan Markle and Prince Harry say the Queen doesn't own the word 'royal'

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have likely been experiencing a LOT of emotions over the past few days.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle joined Prince William and Kate Middleton during their last official engagement as senior members of the royal family.

When it comes to seating arrangements, royal watchers don't miss a beat. On Monday afternoon, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped out for their final royal engagement before their new chapter begins.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been in the U.K. this past week, where they have been fulfilling the remainder of their royal duties.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry joined his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II at a church service on Sunday, marking the first public reunion between the Duchess of Sussex and the British monarch since the couple moved to Canada late last year ahead of a planned official exit from the royal family. The Duke of Sussex was photographed driving his wife to the Royal Chapel of All Saints in Windsor Great Park, while the queen, 93, was seen being driven to the venue in a different vehicle.

They're back! After relocating to Canada in January, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made their first joint appearance on Thursday night. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the Endeavour Fund Awards at Mansion House in London. 

Since the beginning of 2020, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have decided to step back from their royal duties and dropped their HRH titles and the word "royal" from their charitable work. They are living in Vancouver, where they reportedly spend their time hiking and hanging out with their nearly 10-month-old son, Archie Harrison.

The Queen is said to be “very sad” over Meghan Markle not bringing baby Archie with her to the UK with her this week, according to reports.

Ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their decision to put some distance between them and the royal family the drama around their royal exit has been hogging the headlines every single day. Although after discussing the issue at length, Queen Elizabeth II gave her blessing to the couple, a source has revealed that she can’t wait for the controversies around Megxit to eventually fade away, Vanity Fair reported.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's royal transition will be officially underway next month. Per the couple's website, Sussex Royal, they have outlined some updates on how things will roll out going forward.
