With the summer holidays in full swing, it's coming up to that time of year again where the royal family head to their Scottish Balmoral home to relax away from the spotlight.
This year's traditional trip to the Highlands retreat is particularly special as it will be the first time the Firm spends the summer there since the passing of the late Queen Elizabeth II last September.
Her Majesty's eldest son, King Charles, is keen to carry on with his mother's traditions at her favourite getaway and had extended an 'open invite' for family members to stay there at various times over the break.

However, one royal couple not expected at Balmoral for the third time is Prince Harry and Meghan Markle or their two kids, Archie and Lilibet, the Mirror reports.
