Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could be set to break what has become a new royal tradition in recent years. The pair stepped down as working royals in 2020 and since then have been forging a life away from the institution of the British monarchy.
Now it seems they won't be following the trend among the family to have three children, according to reports. Already parents to Prince Archie, four, and Princess Lilibet., two, many fans had been hoping the pair could welcome another bundle of joy soon, given the fact the young prince and princess were born only two years apart.
Prince William and Princess Kate have three kids - Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, five, while their cousin Zara has three with husband Mike Tindall - Mia, nine, Lena, five and Lucas, two.
But as the Express reports, Meghan and Harry have previously spoken out about the possibility of having another child, and it seems they believe their family could already be complete.
When Meghan was pregnant with Lilibet, she and Harry sat down for an interview with US talk show giant Oprah Winfrey.
Harry told Oprah: "I'm just grateful to have any child. Any, one or two, would have been amazing but to have a boy and then a girl what more can you ask for? Now we've got our family, we got the four of us and our two dogs."
The Duke of Sussex then added he and the duchess were "done" at two children, while she agreed: "Two it is."
Prince Harry has also spoken in the past about how he wanted to limit the amount of children he had in a bid to help protect the environment.
