Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly made a secret romantic trip to Portugal after their time in Germany for the Invictus Games earlier this month.
The Duke and Duke of Sussex are said to have enjoyed a lightning "romantic escape" to the country’s Alentejo region between their trip to Düsseldorf and their return to the US last week according to Portuguese magazine Nova Gente.
The publication claims they travelled to the village of Melides after receiving an invite from Harry’s cousin Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank.
Jack works in marketing and sales at a private resort near the village on the Alentejo coast 80 miles south of Lisbon, the Express reports.
CostaTerra Golf and Ocean Club is a luxurious members-only residential community owned by a company founded by George Clooney’s friend Mike Meldman, the Hollywood star’s partner along with Rande Gerber in tequila firm Casamigos.
Eugenie and her husband were reportedly splitting their time between Portugal and London last year after Jack started working for Mr Meldman.
The 33-year-old royal shares two sons, August and Ernest with her property developer partner and the family are believed to base themselves at CostaTerra for part of the year.
Eugenie, who is a cousin of Harry's is believed to share a a close relationship with the Duke and the two have been "best friends" throughout the years despite his ongoing feud with Prince William and King Charles.
The mother-of-two has even flown out to California to visit the Sussexes and their two kids, Archie and Lilbet at their family home in Montecito.
