Max‘s long-awaited debut in Europe is nearing and it’s coming with a saucy original out of Norway.
The Warner Bros Discovery-owned streamer is readying MILF of Norway, a scripted comedy starring Mariann Hole (Made in Oslo, Ammo) and Trond Fausa Aurvåg (Oppenheimer, Lilyhammer).
The eight-episod eshow will be made available across Max’s international footprint when it launches in Norway and several other European countries on Tuesday, May 21. Following its launch, a new episode will drop weekly on Fridays.
JB Perrette outlined the Max rollout plan last month during his keynote at Series Mania in Lille, France.

Synopsis reads: “The spark in Lene’s marriage is long gone and when she suddenly loses her job at a prestigious advertisement agency, she feels lost and humiliated, wondering what to do next. One drunken night, she posts a scantily clad picture of herself wearing a traditional folk costume – mostly as a joke – on the website InsideFans.
“Lene soon realizes there is a niche audience out there who are thirsty for more and willing to pay for it. The side income comes in handy, as the excitement and freedom she feels living this new, secret life is hard to deny. At the same time, the fear of being exposed is exhausting – because who are they really, the people watching her?”
“A show about Internet porn and a midlife crisis was not exactly on my wish list, but the script was incredible,” said Hole. “Combined with a dream team of actors and Rune Langlo on board as director, this was an opportunity
