Max George has ensured all of his celebrity friends and fans know that Maisie Smith is his girl as he paid tribute to her in a sweet Instagram post – making their romance official. The Wanted star, 33, who was recently photographed packing on the PDA with the star in the street, took to his social media on Sunday 4 September ahead of Maisie's Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins debut to show his support.
Posting a promotional SAS photo of Maisie, 21, dressed in a dark green long-sleeved top alongside camo trousers with a water bottle attached to her hip, Max told his 337,000 followers: "You're my winner already @maisiesmithofficial," with a red heart emoji. Maisie immediately re-shared the post on her own Instagram story, over which she placed an emoji of two hands creating a heart – making this the first time either of them have acknowledged their relationship online.
The EastEnders star, who played the role of Tiffany Butcher on the hit BBC soap opera, also tagged Max in her Instagram biography section, which she followed with a red heart emoji. Max and Maisie are said to have grown close after the Strictly Come Dancing live tour, after starring on the hit BBC show together in 2020.
At the time, Max was still with Stacey Giggs, but the pair split for good for a second time earlier this year. It wasn't until August this year that the pair were linked together as they were pictured sitting next to each other on a flight, where an onlooker claimed to The Sun that they were "all over each other".
They are also rumoured to have moved in together in recent weeks, with the pair even spotted purchasing a variety of soft furnishings and homeware items in central London. Shocked and hurt by the news, Stacey branded Max a “lying dog”
