‘Masters Of The Universe’: Amazon MGM Dates Their Live-Action Reboot For June 5, 2026

Have you ever dreamed about being a better version of yourself? With her second film, Coralie Fargeat not only addresses this question but takes aim at ageism and sexism in the entertainment industry with a riotous, dreamlike horror-thriller that ends in a delirious symphony of blood, guts and otherwise undefinable viscera. After five years in development, “Silk: Spider Society” is no more.  Variety reports that Amazon has scrapped plans for the live-action series entirely after the show already received a massive writers’ room overhaul in February. It’s a fate Spidey-fans shouldn’t be surprised by.

Bridgerton” has become so much more than a TV show. The latest from Laxe follows Cannes wins for all his first three features.

Travis Knight (“Kubo and the Two Strings,” “Bumblebee”) is on board to direct the film adaptation of the popular franchise, with Chris Butler writing the screenplay, following initial drafts written by David Callaham and Aaron and Adam Nee.
