A growing Perthshire home improvement firm has sealed an exclusive partnership with a major kitchen manufacturer – as it announces a six-figure investment in its business.
Re Nu Kitchens and Bathrooms, based in Lower Friarton, Perth, has become the sole retailer of JT Ellis kitchens in Scotland after agreeing a deal with the Yorkshire-based furniture-maker.
Re Nu is set to launch the range later this month, with Masterchef finalist Sarah Rankin carrying out cookery demonstrations at the firm’s new kitchen design studio on the opening night in a special early evening event on Thursday, February 23.
Sarah from Kinross said: “I’m thrilled to be working with Craig, Dave and the rest of the team at Re Nu. I am all about community and I’m delighted to be able to help showcase a brilliant local business.
“Their plans for growing and diversifying their services are really exciting and I’m looking forward to cooking up a storm in their new demo kitchen.”
Re Nu, which was named Perthshire’s Employer of the Year at last year’s Chamber of Commerce Star Awards, is investing over £100,000 in its expansion in to kitchen design and installation.
Ellis – based in Huddersfield and employing more than 200 staff at its 200,000sq ft factory in the Yorkshire town – is a family-owned business that has grown to be an industry leader in combining stylish design with high-quality materials.
Re Nu, which opened in 2019 and has grown exponentially since, is the first and only retailer to partner with JT Ellis in Scotland and employ an in-house team of tradesmen to work on its projects.
