Mark Wahlberg is looking ahead to his future as an actor.
The 52-year-old actor spoke to Cigar Aficionado in a new interview, revealing that he might stepping away from the limelight soon.

During his cover feature, Mark revealed that he knows the end of his career is nearer than it was a few years ago.
“Well, I’m certainly working harder now than ever,” Mark joked, before adding that in “certain businesses, you kind of build them, pass them on or you exit.”
Mark added, “Hopefully my kids, we’ll see what their interests are, but I don’t think that I’ll be acting that much longer at the pace I am now,” he shared. “That’s for sure. Because that’s the most difficult thing.”
While he wouldn’t be in front of the camera, that doesn’t mean he’d be leaving the industry entirely, as he is also a producer.
“I started becoming a producer out of necessity,” he said. “I didn’t want to sit around waiting for Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise or whoever was already established before me and were the guys at the time, and Leo [DiCaprio] to go and pass on a movie until I could get my hands on it.”
Mark added, “I was always proactive in trying to find material and things that I could produce, that I knew was right for me, create my own destiny.”
Previously, Mark has opened up about his intense daily schedule, which included waking up at an hour that most people are still asleep at.
