And Rashford, speaking after the game, went into detail over how a conscious effort to cut off supply and be patient in their press allowed United to manage the danger, adding that picking up results while not at their best will be crucial in the hunt for Champions League football.
"We are in that period of the season where every game is important and every game counts so we are pleased to win and hopefully we can get back to where we were a few weeks ago," Rashford told BBC's Match of the Day.
