It’s been a few months since the series finale of This Is Us, but the show’s star Mandy Moore is still processing it being over.
The 38-year-old actress, who is eight months pregnant, opened up during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live with guest host Simu Liu on Wednesday (August 24) in Hollywood.
Mandy was on the show to promote her new album, In Real Life, but she also talked about This Is Us.

“It was really hard to sort of say goodbye,” Mandy said. “And simultaneously saying goodbye to this character. I’m like, oh, this is like slipping into a pair of comfortable shoes every day at work. I can’t fathom, like, not telling these stories anymore, telling the story of this family.”
“I think for all of us, because even on a film set you grow so close,” she continued. “You shared such intimate moments with this family.”
Mandy added, “I think I’m still processing the fact that it’s over in a way, because we would typically be shooting right now. But I’m excited to sort of look forward to whatever’s next.”
