A formal offer from the Qatari banker would follow positive discussions between the Sheikh's delegation and United executives at Old Trafford last week. Those same advisors who were in attendance are now putting together an official proposal to acquire the club, which Sky Sports News' chief reporter Kaveh Solhekol reports should arrive by close of business on Wednesday. talkSPORT are also reporting the Wednesday due date.
The Glazer family are reportedly keen to cash in on the club following last week's visits from interested parties, according to the Daily Mail.
