Manchester's newest luxury hotel is preparing to officially open - with the promise of rooms "designed for the perfect night's sleep". Forty-Seven on Peter Street in the city centre boasts 32 boutique bedrooms and some of "the most lavish suites" in Manchester.
The hotel has been created inside the Grade II-listed former shipping warehouse Lancashire House which corners Peter Street and Southmill Street. The building also houses award-winning Indian restaurant Asha's on the ground floor.
In the basement sits lavish cocktail bar The Peterman, which opened to the public last year.

Now, the hotel is ready to fully open its doors to guests from Friday, August 18. It has shared images of one of its "cosy king bedrooms" and says it "promises intelligent luxury for those who appreciate statement and style while they sojourn".
Rooms have been "specially designed to offer the perfect night’s sleep". And the hotel says it has appointed its very own ‘Sleep Fixer’, who will ensure that every guest's sleeping experience is as good as their waking hours at the hotel.
In order to create the optimum sleeping conditions, a "comforting colour palette washes the walls and ceilings, as secondary-glazed windows are fitted with blackout blinds and curtains" say bosses.
Premium linens and vegan bedding are being used on beds, and you can choose from a "luxury pillow menu" the perfect support for your own unique sleeping preferences.
Along with carefully-considered room acoustics, bluetooth speakers are available to play sleep podcasts and white noise, while mood lighting is installed to create the ideal ambience.
Meanwhile in the bathrooms, guests are invited
