A popular cake shop in the city centre is handing out Willy Wonka-style golden tickets to customers this week giving them a chance to win big just in time for Christmas.
Loaf MCR has launched a fun Golden Ticket campaign where customers who buy specially marked cases of their signature cakes could win a series of Manchester experiences - including two meet and greet tickets to see Jason Manford on tour and a two-night stay for two at the Whitworth Locke Hotel.
Also up for grabs is a £200 cake package including a large party loaf cake and 50 mini loafs. So far, lucky customers have already nabbed tickets to Victoria Warehouse and a meal for four at Bandobust.

The cake shop on Oxford Street in the city centre has also decorated its front window with a mural depicting candy from Willy Wonka created by Lobster House Studios. The shop also has a collection point at Affinity Living Riverside in Salford where people can pick up online orders.
"We wanted to bring the magic of Willy Wonka to life and give our customers a chance to experience something fun this season," Aiden Ryan, owner of Loaf MCR, said.
"This campaign is our way of showing appreciation to our loyal customers while adding a sprinkle of excitement!”
The campaign will run until Sunday with the remaining Golden Tickets still to be found. In addition, Loaf MCR are also giving away five free cakes a day at each of its locations.
