A man ran to a pub for safety after being threatened by masked thugs. The victim had been followed by a group of men after getting off the tram at Shaw and Crompton, in Oldham, on April 10.
At around 10.20pm, the victim was said to have had comments directed to him by the group, before he got off the service from Derker and started walking along Beal Lane.
Police said it is believed that the men then put on balaclavas before demanding the man handed over his belongings.

It was reported they then reached towards their waistbands to 'suggest they had weapons' amid the attempted robbery.
The victim then ran off to a nearby pub for safety, when the culprits also fled the scene. Officers are investigating and have now released an image of three males they would like to speak to who they believe could help with their enquiries.
