A suspect who was arrested after a man was reportedly stabbed with 'scissors' has been released under investigation.
An area of woodland in Bury became a crime scene on Saturday (12 February) after a man in his 50s appeared at an off-licence covered in blood at around 11am.
Police were seen on Tennyson Avenue on the Goshen Estate for much of the afternoon.

It’s thought the man was attacked in woodland near to Tennyson Avenue, before making his way to the store to seek help.
Greater Manchester Police later confirmed a man had been assaulted and was taken to hospital, with non-serious injuries.
A man was subsequently arrested following the incident.
Police said on Tuesday (15 February) that he has since been released under investigation.
The shop worker told the Manchester Evening News : "He said someone had stabbed him with scissors."
"He asked me to get him a taxi but I called him an ambulance. He had blood from his head down to his feet."
Community leaders and residents in the area spoke of their shock in discovering the crime scene at the weekend.
"On behalf of local residents, it’s distressing to hear of the incident that occurred this morning," Coun Tariq Tamoor said on Saturday.
"Our understanding is that this is an isolated incident and the police are on with their enquiries and a full investigation.
"We will be taking steps in the coming week to reach out to Six Town Housing and local residents to see what we can do to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour.
"This is one in a series of incidents that has taken place of late."
One resident woman said she was 'shocked' to see the crime scene.
