A man has pleaded guilty to possessing two different types of acid after a raid in Knutsford.
A huge emergency response was sparked after a warrant was carried out at an address on Longridge on Monday morning (November 27). The bomb squad was scrambled to the scene after 'unknown substances' were found and around 110 homes were evacuated as a cordon was put in place.
Ashlea Henderson, of of Longridge, Knutsford, was charged with possessing hydrochloric acid and sulphuric acid without a licence. The 29-year-old was remanded into custody to appear at Cheshire Magistrates' Court this morning.

In an update, Cheshire Police said Henderson had pleaded guilty to both of the charges. He has now been released on conditional bail.
He will be sentenced at Chester Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. During the warrant, five other people were arrested.
The four other men - aged 23, 24, 24 and 58 - and a 22-year-old have all been released on police bail. At the time, a 100-metre cordon was put in place with dozens of homes evacuated and the bomb squad, firefighters and paramedics called to the scene after a number of substances were found in the property.
Residents were allowed to return to their homes at around 5pm on Monday. In a statement on Tuesday morning, Det Insp John O'Driscoll, said: "I understand the disruption caused by this incident and would like to thank residents for their patience and support.
"Officers will remain in attendance in the area to provide reassurance and I would urge anyone with any concerns to speak to an officer."
