Manchester City Chief Executive Ferran Soriano has told Spanish media that Bernardo Silva will 'of course' stay at Manchester City this summer.
Barcelona are strongly linked with his signing, to the point where both Pep Guardiola and Bernardo himself have admitted this month that they don't know whether he will still be a City player this season. However, Bernardo has made it clear that if he stays then he will give maximum effort to the Blues, and his most recent comments suggest he is now planning to remain at City.
The Blues are now in Spain for Wednesday's Charity friendly against Barcelona, with City bosses taking the time to visit sister club Girona on Monday for their game against Getafe, with City's squad training nearby after the Premier League draw at Newcastle.

And footage has shown CEO Soriano walking into the stadium and being asked by a reporter whether Bernardo is staying at City. He replies: 'of course', before heading into the ground.
Soriano sat alongside Guardiola and City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak, with Chief Football Operations officer Omar Berrada also in attendance.
Girona ran out 3-1 winners, with two City loanees featuring - Yan Couto and Yangel Herrera, while former Blues player Enes Unal scored Getafe's only goal.
City now continue preparations for the Barcelona game on Wednesday, with Guardiola teasing his former club last week by saying: “You (Barcelona) will see him play on Wednesday, won’t you? But what is certain is that he will play for us, Manchester City."
