Incoming Manchester City superstar Erling Haaland has been tipped to win next season’s Premier League Golden Boot. Liverpool’s Mo Salah and Tottenham’s Son Heung-min shared the award this time around with 23 goals each.
Salah has won the accolade on three occasions now, but a former Liverpool star believes he won’t get his hands on the prize next season. Haaland netted 86 times in 89 games for Borussia Dortmund in two-and-a-half years.
He’s scored 135 goals in 183 senior career matches and his goals-to-games ratio is expected to improve at City. The Norway striker will arrive at the Etihad on a £51m deal, excluding wages, agent fees and personal add-ons.

Former City and Liverpool midfielder Steve McManaman believes Haaland will go on to be the Premier League’s top scorer next season, partly due to Liverpool’s saturated attack force.
Salah is supported at Anfield by Sadio Mane, Luis Dias, Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota. McManaman has predicted all five to share the goals next season and thus give Haaland a better shot at the Golden Boot.
Speaking to SPORTbible, he explained: “If he (Haaland) stays fit, I think he could be brilliant. I think Liverpool’s forwards will spread it around a bit more now.
“One of them might be moved on next year… because you can’t keep five (attackers) happy. I think Liverpool will scatter their goals across the board next year.
“I think Haaland will outscore them all. If he has a season like (Romelu) Lukaku, it will be a huge shock. The way Manchester City play, I expect him to be a machine scoring goals.”
