A man has been charged after an NHS staff member was punched in the face and left with a fractured cheekbone.
The staff member, a man in his 50s, was punched in the face at Salford Royal Hospital, on Sunday, March 29.
Police were called to reports of an attack at the hospital at 1.50pm.
A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault.
The NHS worker required treatment for a fractured cheekbone but has since been discharged.
Daniel Shevlin, 27, of no fixed abode, has been charged in
