A 20-year-old man has appeared before magistrates after being charged in connection with an alleged stabbing in Bury. Charlie Harrison has been charged with affray and possession of an offensive weapon following an alleged incident last week.
Yesterday (April 1), Harrison appeared at Manchester Magistrates Court. It is alleged that an 18-year-old man was stabbed in the arm.
Police attended the scene at Abingdon Avenue in Unsworth, near Whitefield, after 5pm last Thursday. No plea was entered by Harrison at Manchester Magistrates Court yesterday.

Harrison, of Mather Avenue, Bury, has been remanded in custody. He is next due to appear at Manchester Crown Court on May 7.
Greater Manchester Police had also arrested a 49-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy on suspicion of murder following last Thursday's alleged incident. They were later released under investigation.
