Maisie Smith has opened up about a potential return to EastEnders, three years after her character Tiffany Butcher was last seen in Walford. Speaking to OK!, at the National Lottery's Big Night of Musicals, Maisie revealed that while she has no immediate plans to return to Albert Square, it's always a possibility that she could make her way back at some point. Asked if there are any plans for her return to the popular BBC soap, she said: "Not at the minute, no, but it's one of those places, you just never know.
"There's always a place to go back to, but not right now." Maisie, who moved in with her boyfriend Max George last January, also opened up about her recent house renovations, which she has been sharing on social media. She told us: "It's very time-consuming, but we're getting there. We're really happy, and the house looks amazing.
I'm finally house proud for the first time ever so I'm very happy." Maisie added that she's "busy and happy" at the moment as she's been working on a number of new projects, revealing that she'd also love to appear in a musical someday, if the right role came along. Earlier this month, Max and Maisie shared some snaps of their impressive renovation project to their Instagram pages. Captioning the clip showing off their home, they wrote: "So grateful to be starting 2024 in our dream home & big thanks to @porcelainsuperstore for the beautiful flooring stay tuned for the final finishing touches…" The pair had previously told OK! that they were practically "homeless" during their renovations, and that they had been left without a kitchen for a period of time.
