Former AFL coach Dani Laidley has revealed that she battled years of “fear, shame and embarassment”, but now was “absolutely at peace” after coming out and being a role model for the transgender community. Laidely opened up about her struggles with gender dysphoria for most of her life during her chat on radio in the Triple M commentary box last month. “You live in fear and shame and embarrassment for years and then to come out like it did, it’s been really tough on my family, but now, to a person, it’s been great. They accept me for who I am, the person I am now, and hopefully there’s a lot of life to live,” said Laidley. The former North Melbourne player and coach explained her diagnosis to listeners.

Red Hot Chili Peppers have announced a six-date tour of Australasian stadiums, for which they’ll be joined by Post Malone.It’ll be the first tour for both acts in 2023, kicking off in the New Zealand city of Auckland on Saturday January 21. Jack Johnson has announced he’ll be embarking on a run of Australian and New Zealand shows later this year.The tour comes in support of his latest album ‘Meet The Moonlight’, which arrived last Friday (June 24). Conan Gray has shared details of a four-date Australasian tour, which is set to take place this coming November.The tour, announced today (June 16), will mark Gray’s second visit to Australia following his inaugural run of shows in February of 2020.
