Made in Chelsea's Louise Thompson has taken to social media to share an emotional post reflecting on her near-death experience earlier this year. The reality star shared a series of snaps of herself with her son Leo-Hunter, and partner Ryan Libbey, in St. Lucia on a delayed trip the trio should have made months ago.
Soaking up the sun in the images, she said: "We were scheduled to visit St. Lucia to stay with friends in early Feb but my health got in the way. .
. AGAIN. I shouldn't complain.
"In fact I should be counting my lucky stars that I was firmly on British soil when I suffered a major haemorrhage and had subsequent emergency surgery at the end of January. "She continued: "Goodness only knows what would have happened if I'd been flying high in the sky on a 9hr flight or roaming around barefoot on a remote Caribbean Island, but my instinct is telling me that I wouldn't have survived.
"I know I needed several litres of life-saving blood/fluids etc. and I'm not sure what access to that sort of stuff is like abroad. Maybe don't tell me.
It's not really worth stewing over too much.
