Mac Miller’s recently released posthumous album, Circles, was announced as a companion to 2018’s Swimming. As it turns out, the late rapper actually envisioned the projects as two-thirds of a trilogy. Producer Jon Brion, who completed Circles following Mac’s death, spoke about the Pittsburgh native’s plan in a recent New York Times interview.
