Love Island's Tyrique Hyde has given viewers the ick with a controversial footwear choice that distracted those watching his hideaway scenes. The footballer, 24, and his partner Ella Thomas, 23, became the first couple this series to get the chance to visit the hideaway, a private space away from the main villa where contestants can get intimate. Another viewer, flagging up the difference in effort Ella and Tyrique had made, tweeted: "ella had TWO outfits and ty in his crocs n socks." Someone else commented: "How does Ella look absolutely (fire emoji) and Tyrique rocks in with probably holey boxers and socks and crocs." Viewers couldn't believe Tyrique hadn't tried harder to look good for the romantic evening.
One person tweeted: "Tyrique entering the hideaway with Ella for a romantic evening wearing 3/4 length sports socks and crocs just no…." Someone else wrote: "ella puts on nice lingerie for the hideaway and tyrique has crocs and socks on. men." Another
