Love Island's Jake Cornish is returning to the villa for ITV's All Stars spin-off and he's in for a shock when he gets to South Africa - his ex Liberty Poole is also on the show.
The reality star, 26, made his TV debut on Love Island's seventh series, on which he met Liberty. The pair were coupled up throughout the competition but broke up just days before the final, with Liberty choosing to leave the show. Ahead of Love Island: All Stars, Jake revealed how he felt about Liberty joining in the villa - and admitted that there was no chance of the pair rekindling their romance.
When asked how he felt about his ex, Jake said, "I just hope she's well. I hope her family's fit and healthy, her friends are all well. I hope she's doing well.
"I don't know what she's done. I don't speak to the girl. It was just a relationship that didn't work out.
It is what it is, but I don't look at her as any different to my other exes." He added: "It's just a relationship I had on telly. So as long as she alright and happy., in a good headspace, then that's all I asked for. I wish nothing else." When asked whether there's hope for him and Liberty in the villa, he said, "That ship has sailed." As for his time on All Stars, Jake said that he was ready to get involved in any drama.
"I always get stuck in. Day one, I'm getting stuck in," he laughed. "I'm on telly - I don't want to be named, 'That boring fella.'" Jake divided fans whilst on the show's seventh series over his treatment of Liberty - and the reality star now wants to show a different side of himself.
