Former Love Island star Amy Hart is preparing for her first Christmas as a proud mum to her adorable son Stanley, and has opened up to OK! about how she plans on navigating the festive season. Amy, 30, welcomed her first child with her fiance Sam Rason in March this year and has since been keeping her fans and followers updated online on her journey as a new mum.
As Christmas Day quickly approaches, Amy revealed what her 2023 plans are, how she and Sam are working around their different traditions, and how her feelings around Christmas have changed over recent years. Speaking about how her festive season is looking so far, Amy said: “Originally, I was like ‘I'm not gonna get the baby any presents, they don't understand stuff’, and now I’m like let’s go and see as many Santa’s as we can' and he is having a book advent calendar.
"We're at my mum's on Christmas Day and we're at my mother-in-law's on Boxing Day.” Amy continued: “So I’ve got 28 books because I forgot that I'd already bought three and I bought 25. But so 28 days of Christmas books for him." Amy added: "I'm not going to do Elf on the Shelf until he actually understands because it's a lot of work.” Not only is Amy navigating Christmas as a first-time mum, but she also revealed they are working out what their “family compromise” will be as she now shares the festivities with Sam and his family.
Amy revealed that she and Sam have different traditions which they are trying to work around. She said: “It's really weird because I've never had like a serious boyfriend before I met Sam and obviously every family has their own traditions”.
