Love Island's Samie Elishi returns to social media amid Tom Clare split

Samie Elishi has broken her social media silence following her split from Tom Clare.The former Love Island stars sparked rumours of their split earlier this week, with Tom later confirming the news on his Instagram story.The semi-professional footballer, 23, wrote: "I didn't think I'd be writing this but me and Samie have gone our separate ways... We are still on good terms and I have nothing but love and respect for her.
I'm gutted it's come to an end but I truly wish Samie the best." And now Samie, 22, has returned to social media following the announcement, however, she is yet to address the split. Posting a photo of herself filming a video, the TV star promoted her YouTube channel, telling fans that she will be posting a video tomorrow.
She wrote: "Guys sorry my YouTube video will be going live tomorrow instead of this evening" she then added a link to the channel. It was previously reported that Tom and Samie decided to call it quits on their relationship after they struggled with the long distance with Samie being based in London and Tom living in Macclesfield.
Before Tom confirmed the news, a source told The Sun: "Samie and Tom have sadly decided to call it a day. "There is a lot of love and respect there but it just wasn’t going anywhere.The distance between them was too much and they are both really focused on their careers post Love Island." Ahead of their split, Tom and Samie appeared on fellow ex-islander Chloe Burrows' new YouTube show together, where they discussed their time on the show.
