Love Islander and first-time mum Montana Brown revealed she’s felt “overwhelmed” over the past week – after disclosing her recent operation as she tries to enjoy time with her three-month-old baby.
The reality star, 28, who rose to fame on Love Island in 2015 took to Instagram where she posted candid snaps of her and son, Jude, in bed as she told her followers about her recovery from “painful” knee surgery. She wrote: “So I have to say, I’ve really struggled this past week. I have felt quite negative and that’s something I HATE.
I’ve had an operation which I really needed but also still dealing with the fun postpartum joys." Montana then went on to say: "Let me list a few of the things that are overwhelming me currently: Reconstructive knee surgery recovery being so consistently painful. Breastfeeding and supply issues since surgery. Feeling out of it due to meds.
“Starting to have first signs of a period since giving birth. Having a newborn that I want to be enjoy time with but feeling I need time to myself.” Montana first alluded to her inujry in early September when she posted a picture of herself in hospital post-operation wearing a knee brace saying 'horizontal all day everyday'. She added: “long road to recovery but taking this time where I’m not mobile to focus on gratitude and trying to be present.
“A week of needing assistance to go to the toilet and being horizontal all day everyday as I’m in agony has been hard. “But I'm v excited for recovery, getting back on my feet and getting back into my fitness as I've not been able to properly train since being pregnant.
