During her time in the villa, former Love Island star Liberty Poole was known as much for her platinum blonde locks as she was for her decision to leave the show. However, in the two years since her appearance on the seventh series of the show in 2021, Liberty has undergone quite the beauty transformation.The former Love Islander has been slowly swapping her platinum blonde hair for brunette, and has just debuted her darkest colour yet.
For the last few months, Liberty has been transitioning through various shades to gradually introduce a brunette colour to her white blonde hair, opting for a darker blonde at first, before moving into more bronde territory – combining blonde and brunette together to get a warm toned caramel colour. Gradually adding brunette tones to blonde hair can help prevent the dreaded green undertone that can sometimes happen when adding dark colour to platinum hair, not to mention it helps you adjust to your new look without the difference being quite so dramatic.
Over the last few weeks, Liberty’s hair has been firmly in the light brunette camp, complete with blonde money piece sections at the front for an easy transition. Now, however, the model and influencer has headed back to the salon, and this time there’s no denying she’s gone over to the dark side.
Sharing a behind the scenes snap from the salon, Liberty revealed her new look whilst she was still sat in the chair, her hair halfway through being styled. Gone were the lighter money piece sections and the caramel brownie colour, and in its place was a much cooler toned dark brunette shade.
