As we start to transition from spring into summer, now is the perfect time to have a hair refresh, and that’s exactly what Love Island runner up Jessie Wynter has done with her brand new hair colour. Although not as dramatic a transformation as some of her other costars are known for, Jessie has opted for a subtle style and colour freshen up that keeps her signature brunette colour and lengthy locks, but gives her a brand new summer-ready shade and style.
Whilst before Jessie had a slightly cooler, ashier-toned brunette shade, to celebrate the weather warming up she’s gone for a much warmer brown colour which plenty of caramel and blonde undertones. The result is a gorgeous toffee apple shade that looks rich and warm, without completely changing her overall look.
Her overall shade was given a subtle lightening, whilst larger sections of blonde and toffee were painted throughout the ends of her hair similar to a balayage technique to give her hair a naturally lightened, sunkissed look that’s ideal for the summer months. Jessie also had some long layers chopped into her hair, particularly around the front and framing her face to help add movement and texture to her lengthy locks. The transformation didn’t stop there though, as the 26 year old personal trainer also got some fresh extensions to match her new colour, choosing to stick with her ultra long and glossy signature style rather than go for a dramatic chop.
Jessie used her go-to extensionists, Beauty Works, who are also favoured by Molly-Mae when it comes to adding some extra length and volume to her natural hair. Since leaving the villa, Jessie and boyfriend Will Young – who she coupled up with on the show and has been with ever since – have been living a quiet life
