The debut episode of Love Island Games had fans buzzing with excitement, but not long into the show, viewers had already started to grumble about the format. Instead of the usual quick coupling up we see on Love Island, the contestants all entered the villa in Fiji and had a chat. But fans were quick to moan about the lengthy introductions on social media.

Some of the ex-Islanders due to appear on spin-off show Love Island Games quit before the show even began after being told they were "not guaranteed airtime" despite quarantining for weeks on end. Whilst there, they will compete in various challenges together, and there might even be romance along the way.
