Love Island's Jess Harding takes new savage swipe at ex Sammy Root after split

Love Island winner Jess Harding, who won the summer series with her ex Sammy Root, has made a brutal dig at her ex-boyfriend following their rocky romance. The 22 year old star has seemingly decided to remove all traces of Sammy from her life in a bold move, deleting all the pictures of them together from her Instagram page.
The west London-based beautician previously deleted a highlights reel of their whirlwind relationship, which showed the pair's ups and downs throughout their time in the villa. Currently the former couple both still follow each other on Instagram and even sat on the same table at the Pride of Britain awards ceremony last weekend.
Yet Jess has clearly realised its time to have a purge of their happy memories as she moves forward with her life after the break-up. Last month, it was revealed that the pair had actually called it quits on their relationship days before the news broke.
Jess decided to clear up some of the rumours in a Q&A session on her Instagram stories, where she opened up about the split and why she and Sammy had parted ways. As a fan asked how she was doing since the break-up, Jess replied: “It’s been over a week now since we split, so I’m getting there.
"We shared a once in a lifetime experience together, so of course I’m sad.” Other than that, the star was determined not to share the details of what led to the break-up, as she took aim at other Love Island couples who have decided to give a full statement on their social media. “I really don’t want to go into detail by doing a big statement, but we’re just very different and behave differently and that’s it.” Jess’ comments came just one day after Sammy gave his own statement on the split, where he claimed he hadn't actually been
