Davide Sanclimenti has sweetly revealed that he and girlfriend Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu love each other "more and more" since Love Island. The Italian former Islander, 27, won the 2022 series of the hit ITV2 dating series in August with Ekin-Su, 28, with their romance going from strength-to-strength. And since leaving the villa, Davide has sweetly revealed that his romance with Ekin-Su is even "stronger" and they feel like a "proper couple".
Speaking exclusively to OK! at the launch of his boohooMAN collection, Davide, who joked they will one day retire to his beloved Italy, said: "We've been really busy for me and Ekin-Su but I feel like we feel stronger than before. "I feel like since we have left the villa we feel like proper boyfriend and girlfriend, we feel like a proper couple. Only when you are outside [the villa] you can actually see if the relationship can actually work in the real world.
"I feel like we are much closer and we feel like a proper girlfriend and boyfriend. So things are going amazing for the moment." However, when asked whether marriage and starting a family could soon be on the cards, Davide insisted: "I think it's too early to speak about marriage or babies. "I feel like, if you consider since we left the villa is probably like two months, maybe three months.
I feel like it's still early. "But I feel like we are enjoying both of us in our company. We feel like we love each other more and more.
"We feel like we are the same person. Like I'm the copy and paste of her, and she's the copy and paste of me. So if it's meant to happen, it will happen!" And Davide, who was looking for a partner when joining the ITV2 show, is glad he went on Love Island and found Ekin-Su.
