Love Island’s Claudia Fogarty was masking her “true emotions” over her breakup with Casey O’Gorman, a body language expert has claimed. Financial advisor Casey, who fans say resembles Claudia’s motorcycle racer dad Carl Fogarty, was in the hot seat during Monday night’s episode of the show, which is set in South Africa.
Following the drama created by Casa Amor, Casey, 26, and Claudia, 28, seemed to be going strong until the arrival of bombshell Rosie Seabrook who immediately set her sights on the Hertfordshire local. Claudia was understandably upset by the ordeal and slept outside one night as Casey and Rosie shared a bed.
But during Snog, Marry and Pie on Monday night, which also saw the ladies be branded “rude” by fans online, Claudia seemed to turn a corner and relished in giving Casey a pie alongside other contestants such as Tanya Manhenga and Jessie Wynter. While Claudia seemed to be getting on okay by the end of the episode after the split, vowing that she would never be an “option”, Betfair body language expert Darren Stanton has argued that she “was actually pretty devastated internally.” He explained: “As they spoke, he sat on the bench with his drink between his legs and his body facing forwards, while Claudia was sitting upright.
She appeared more open to talking during the conversation. “It’s clear they have lost all connection by the fact they weren’t facing or tilted towards each other.” Darren continued to describe how Claudia’s stress levels began to increase as she experienced a “significant emotional shift” and “started to blink a lot more.” The body language expert continued: “In Claudia’s case, she was obviously feeling embarrassed and upset.
