Love Island's Will Young left viewers baffled on Wednesday night over his remark to Layla Al-Momani. Only recently, Will, who is partnered with Jessie Wynter, shared a passionate kiss with Casa Amor bombshell Layla on the main villa's terrace. However, just moments after the passionate smooch, Will started to have regrets as he thought about partner Jessie and admitted he had "f**ked up big time".
During the latest instalment, Will spoke to Layla following their smooch as he admitted: "No trust me, I'm not a player! I'm a one girl type of guy to be fair." Viewers were quick to react to the remark as they questioned how Will could be a "one girl type of guy" when he had cheated on Jessie with Layla. Taking to Twitter, one person joked: "Will CLEARLY youre not a one woman guy.. #LoveIsland." A different account put: "You’re a one woman man are you will? #loveisland" followed with laughing emojis.
Another follower wrote: "No way will said he’s a one girl typa man #loveisland." While a different viewer added: "Will he says he’s one girl type of guy #loveIsland" with a confused emoji. Later in the episode, Will admitted to Layla that he felt guilty over their kiss and that he hadn't stopped thinking about Jessie, who he really cares about. Will added that he feels like he is "falling in love" with Jessie and their kiss helped him realise that but he wants to keep hanging out with Layla - although in a more friendly way.
It comes as an explosive teaser released at the end of Wednesday's episode shows a first look at the dramatic recoupling on Thursday night. Could Will decide to recouple with Layla or will he stick with Jessie? Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX. READ MORE: To read the very best of today’s
